Found another lonely tulip. This one was hiding under a lawn chair.
Our plum tree has just started to flower. The tree itself is bad shape; scale has taken over a good portion of the tree. Not sure how many years it has left, but it still looks pretty when it blooms.
I think they call this a leather leaf shrub. I always forget its real name. These shrubs line a good portion of the back of the yard. I hadn't been pruning them for several years; I wanted to see how tall they would grow. Well, once they got about 15 feet and showed no sign of slowing down I ended my experiment. This past winter I trimmed about half of them. We'll see if it makes a difference in their flowering. When they all bloom, it looks like I have a lot of floating cotton balls lining the back edge of the yard.

Hey! You get tired of kid pictures. And, I had a good worm picture yesterday as well (Jacob holding the worm).
... not that there is anything wrong about it.
I like the flower pictures. But then everybody thinks I'm gay. (I'M NOT!)
