After All The Rain...

Spring is in full swing.
This rose was Karen's from Valentine's Day. We planted in late March after tending to it inside. Looking pretty nice, prettying up the area where I keep the garbage :-)

Backyard is even looking good. Jacob had a week of punitive weeding out there and he really made a good dent. Nothing beats child labor! The grass laid last Fall looks amazing.


And hopefully in a couple of weeks our giant mass of roses will start blooming for a summer full of roses.

Competition On - Regatta

Boys competed well. Jacob and Reuben made it passed the first round. Then Reuben made it passed two more rounds. Wound up losing in the den championship to the boat that defeated Jacob earlier.

Saturday Morning Baseball Game

Another good game, though this time we lost by a couple of runs. Reuben went 4-4, while Jacob struggled a bit today going 1-4. But, both are playing well.

Faith Is 7!!!!

Faith had a very fun bowling party. Very calm and orderly with 17 kids bowling, eating pizza, and devouring lots of cake :-)

Happy Mother's Day

We had a double decker day. Mother's Day and Faith's 7th birthday. First was Mother's Day. After Hebrew school the kids wanted to give Karen her gifts. I think they were all hit.

Beautiful Day For A Ballgame

Perfect weather for our little league game. We won the game 14-13, coming from a tie in the bottom of the last inning. Reuben and Jacob played great. Jacob was coming off his MVP game last week to have another good hitting game. Reuben also hit well getting one ball into the outfield.

The Glamour Of Travel

Just of the turnpike in east Rutherford NJ.  Oh the luxury of a dilapidated quality inn. :-)  The bed is clean and comfortable and its only one night, so I'm happy.

Evening Little League Game

Reuben and Jacob playing great.  3-0 Owls (our team).  Reuben and Jacob each drove in a run.  Jacob scored twice.
