Reuben saw these trucks where we were hiding them. We were going to wait to give them the trucks, but once he saw them he went running to Jacob to tell him that they were getting trucks over and over and over again. There was no turning back. Naturally Jacob latched immediated to the the yellow dump truck and Reuben to the backend loader. Posted by Picasa
And then came the trucks from Uncle Marc (FL)... Posted by Picasa

Hanukkah - Night Four Posted by Picasa
Managed to get all three in one picture, though Jacob is facing the other direction and Faith is running away. This is a play area at the zoo in the form of a giant pizza. My engineer in the making, Reuben, impressed me. He wanted to climb up on the big tomato but it was too tall. So, he realized he needed a step. There were these big eggplant sliced in the shape of a circle that fit the bill; but they were too heavy for him to carry. Reuben push it up on its side and rolled it like a wheel to where he needed it! I think that's pretty good for a 2 year-old. He then climbed up on the tomato until Jacob pushed him off ;-) Posted by Picasa
Now back down to the petting area. Faith would not get too close. Posted by Picasa

All of us went to the zoo yesterday morning. (12/28) We were going to just go to the year-old farm area with a petting zoo, but the boys wanted to see their favorite animals; Reuben - a giraffe, Jacob - an elephant. Naturally these animals were at the other end of the zoo which is one big hill. So we went all the way up the hill and then back down to the farm area. Posted by Picasa

Faith also got a great baby set from Nana (FL) - stroller, pack and play, and a high chair. Here Faith is feeding her cabbage patch kid what I think she thinks is a cookie; it's actually a hamburger ;-) Posted by Picasa
