Pumpkin Patch field trip. The boys' pre-school had a field trip yesterday that looked like it was a lot of fun.
Of course it was perfect weather again. After tonight, DC should have a new record of consecutive days without measurable rain; 34 days.

Let The Competition Begin

The stage of growing up that I have dreaded since the twins were infants has finally come. And, I know from my childhood, it will last a long, long time. What is this stage? Sibling competition. Just in the last couple of weeks the taunts started and now in the last couple of days it involves everything. "I get dressed faster than you" - Reuben "I finished my mac and cheese first" - Jacob "I'm taller" - R "I pee'd faster" - J (said in a crowded restroom at the museum of natural history to the amusement of all) "My poop comes out the fastest" - R You get the idea. Its very annoying and just about always leads to a more heated argument. There may be some hope, one of Jacob's taunts this evening was, "I ate all my carrots first."
