Being overcast and a little cool, we decided to go to a park that generally bakes in the sun, but has lots of great stuff. Grandma and Grandpa had a good time too. (Remember you can click on the above images for a larger view)

Grandma and Grandpa Hemmerdinger are visiting and today Uncle David and Aunt Kathy also come down.

Surprise over... Today at nap time, Kelsey was hearing a ruckus and went into the boys bedroom. The room was trashed; mattresses off the bed, sheets off, the works. Now the question is how do we get them to nap. Seems like bedtime may be easy, but naptime may be another story.

NEW BEDS!!!!

After too many crib dives, we decided the boys needed beds. We could no longer avoid confronting the inevitable. The boys were so excited, but we figured they'd never get to sleep tonight or for that matter stay in their respective beds. How surprised were Karen and I when they went to sleep without gettingout of their beds once. Anyway on to the pictures...

First Day of Pre-School Reuben and Jacob had their first day of pre-school. They were so stylish with their polos and backpacks. All that was missing was their letter sweater.

Still great weather here in VA. Its amazing how much fun a bucket of water can be.... Water Play: The Movie And here are some stills Nice coming home to some fun. Tedious week at work. All day customer meetings with the customer finally telling me that I'm too busy; thanks a lot!

What great weather here... Finally. Karen gave me the task of figuring out something to do today. I decided to try Gravelly Point park in Arlington; it's an overlook of National Airport. Can you say Genius!! Kids loved it, though novelty ran off quick. Luckily the ducks were there to keep their attention.

What a great day today. Breakfast at IHOP, a fun park, and great naps. Almost no fighting between the kids and thus no yelling by Mommy or Daddy. They even went right to bed. And to top things off... Faith ATE fish sticks!!!! Faith eating. And boy is she proud! She is also walking pretty good distances, check out this movie. The boys also has a good day. And enjoyed their fish sticks as well.

The Cool Bunch !!!!

The news of New Orleans is so depressing. The fact that the city is essentially destroyed was bad enough, but hearing about the looting, shootings, rapes, etc., is utterly sickening.
