Steak and Whiskey Night
Our annual Steak dinner for the Abba group at my synagogue as tonight. We had about 30 guys enjoying terrific steaks and some great whiskeys, including my friend Scott's new whiskey - Catoctin Creek Roundstone Rye!
What made this steak dinner even better was that we held it in the new addition to the synagogue. I included pictures of the social hall and entry way. It is really nice.
Happy Birthday Reuben and Jacob
We had the boys party yesterday at a cool kids science lab. Everyone had a blast (pun intended).

Rain Gutter Regatta
Right after Faith's ballet, the boys and I rushed over to cub scouts for the annual rain gutter regatta. The kids made their boats (with my help) over the last few days. Mostly just some measuring, gluing, and painting. The boats performed pretty well. Reuben made it to the Tiger finals by winning his two heats. He lost in the finals... a blow out (pun intended). Jacob lost his first heat, but won decidedly in the second heat. Best of all they had a lot of fun with it!
Faith's Recital - Golden Eggs
Today was Faith's ballet recital. Everything drops for ballet. Actually our soccer game we rescheduled since our 4 girls all were dancing in it today. Only I took a hit and had to miss my softball game. However, I am very glad I did. Faith danced amazing, her best performance yet!
Afterwards we met back up with her friend from her ballet class and her family for dinner and then ice cream... oh its good to be a princess!

Let There Be Light
New electric boxes installed in the basement, connected, and switched ON. Lo and behold our new spaces have the magic of electricity.
And there was joy...

Karen and My Mini-Vacation
With Nana visiting and willing to watch the kids for the night. Karen and I bolted out the door for a night out; hotel included! We went about 15 minutes to National Harbor. Place was very nice with a bunch of restaurants. The one we went to Moonbay Coastal Cuisine was very good. There are still many stores and restaurants still opening up. In a few years it should be a real entertainment destination.

On the boardwalk, where they moved the Awakening statue.

Faith Officially 6!
Nan was out visiting this weekend for Faith's birthday as well as an early celebration for the boys birthday. We had a fun time. Nana took each the boys shopping and then traded to take Faith shopping for gifts they picked up with her.

Faith also really liked the bracelet that my Mom sent her. she is very into jewelery now. Oh brother!

And Tipper is still always the ham.
