Soccer Sunday
The boys played great and it was a really exciting game even though we though we lost 3-0. We are a pretty good team, just can't get a coordinated attack on goal. Reuben and Jacob played goalie yesterday; Reuben for a quarter and then Jacob for the whole second half. They were very good. Coach turned to me and told me that my boys locked down the goalie position! Even though I'd rather Reuben play forward and Jacob fullback, they like goalie and have a really strong boot. Fun game to watch.

Finished... Always harder than you think
Stairs all clean. Put down a mat to keep leaves and debris from messing up the pump. Bring on the leaves!!!
More Clean Up
The concrete guys did not leave the new stairwell in pristine shape. Lots of concrete debris, screws, old bolts, etc. Major clean up area and to keep debris from clogging pump too.

Faith's Soccer Game
The boys' team was for Columbus day weekend, but Faith played. But... she was the only one from the Green team that was around, so today she played on the red team. She is still have fun!
Mmmm Good Burgers
Grill worked great. Meanwhile Reuben found a little snake. Jacob thinks it was a baby adder snake.

Clean up
Beautiful day in Northern Virginia. Perfect day to clean out the shed. I wish I took a before picture. It seriously looked like that ubiquitous cartoon closet that explodes with junk when you open the door. For a bit I had the kids help me, but it took much longer than planned. I threw out lots of junk and moved some stuff to the garage. Next weeks its a shelving system for the garage.
